{Meet The Artists}
{Steve Lucas and friends firing Hopi Pots the traditional way}

Native American artists of the Southwest have made this area one of the magic places in the world. Having an age-old culture indigenous to the high, dry plateaus and valleys, they have shared this through their art.

In our travels through the various reservations, we have the pleasure of meeting and knowing most of the better artists, personally. As our guest, we'd like nothing better than to take you along with us. The next best thing is for us to share some of our experiences with you. Hence this section of our Internet gallery.

Along this same vein of "knowing the artists," we include some historical resumés of now-departed pioneer artists. These are mostly items that we have put together to further our own study and interests. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do

Click on any name and we will take you to meet the artist.
